3 Stars These are Okay
I hooked these up in all possible configurations and was unable to get sound through them. My sound card (Creative ZS2 Platinum) did not recognize them either??? My system is older and should have been compatible with them given the age of the design of this headset. I am going with the Medusa Home System Headset next based on the fact that I would not have to unplug them from my sound card every time I want to use my speakers.

PRICE + 5.1 surround

CONS:

Volume switch is a pain, there are 5 volume indicators you need to manage. Microphone feels cheap and a bit awkward. Playing online is a mess since you can’t hear yourself talk and often you end up playing with the cheap volume indicators to moderate voices.

im a young but well rounded gamer but if u play shooting games these are the headsets for u i use to use turtle beach x4 but it made my ear ich go tritton all the way they have true dolby 5.1 surrond sound which is ahuge at vantage during game play they are more realible then turtle beach and if u play halo or call of duty send me a friend request so we can play together xbox 360 gamer tag:kingpin474

The item was listed as new, which it is not! The item was obviously used for some time as evidenced by the dirt in areas that would not normally be exposed to such except by excessive handling.

Shipping overcharge by at least double the rate.

I don’t appreciate anyone trying to get over.

1 Star Not what it appeared to be…
The item that was pictured and described which I thought that I was buying was not what was sent to me, at least not in it’s entirety. To complete my purchase I was asked to pick between a black or gray casing cover for my hard drive and I picked gray, however when the item arrived all I had was an internal (naked) hard drive with no external case to attach it to the XBOX 360 system. The paperwork that was sent went on to tell me that I purchased only the internal hard drive and if I needed the external case I could acquire one from the seller for an additional $17.00. I haven’t been so upset with an online purchase since I had my credit card information stolen from an insecure site. On top of this whole thing… the hard drive itself, now that it’s all put together, doesn’t even work the way it should because there seem to be issues with the 120GB unit. Not my happiest purchase, or a great Bday gift for my son either.

One of the places that the video game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare scores consistently well is with its graphics. At times, the visuals that are provided with Call of Duty 4 are almost distractingly realistic, but this is the price to be paid for good rendering. As with the previous games, CoD4 has impressive sound effects, and the quality of being completely immersed in the setting is very strong.

As with previous Call of Duty games, there is a terrific arsenal of weapons that are available to the players. At the start, you begin with the M4 and the G36C.

Of course, one of the most eagerly anticipated aspects of Call of Duty 4 was the multiplayer mode, which can support up to18 players over Xbox live. There are sixteen maps that can be played on right out of the box with plenty of different game-types that can appeal to a wide variety of gamers. There is the Hardcore mode of play where one shot equals a fatality, compared to Old School mode, where there is a lot more jumping and video game physics.

Call of Duty 4 has topped the list of popular video games for years, which speaks to its impressive playability and the astounding way that its visual and emotional world engages the player at an emotional and viseral level. This game has shown itself to be a true winner.
