5 Stars For games, does what it should.
I was nervous about spending $75 for this instead of forking up the $200 for an Xbox 360 Arcade unit to replace my older one with for the HDMI port. My TV only supported 1080i through component, and with the new Octava HDMI/Toslink switch box i had bought, HDMI was a must for my Xbox. I hooked everything up last night, and the converter works just fine. Like many people said, it does blast some of the whites kind of bright, and even the instruction sheet mentions you may need to turn down your brightness on the TV. I kicked my brightness down by 4 clicks, and it is fantastic. Games are now coming through at 1080p instead of 1080i, and the toslink connector on the converter is working just fine, it passed through to my switch box and then to my surround sound with no sound issues in 5.1 digital. I don’t have the HD-DVD add-on, but for games, works like a champ.

No problems with the seller or anything like that, mad catz just sucks. The image quality after using this part is a little bit better. All in all, just get an xbox with a real hdmi port.

This thing will not work with my t.v. I bought this at frys good thing i did so i can return it real fast. I have a ln52A860 and it will make my t.v. blink on and off and then static for the longest time. If i could i would give this peace of junk no stars. Don’t waste your time on this product

I had some difficulty with a DIFFERENT HDMI cable from HDMI King, and they generously refunded my money and replaced it with this cable; which is working perfectly! A good seller and an excellent product.

5 Stars High Quality cable that gets teh job done
I have some cheap HDMI cables that work, and I have this HDMI King cable that also works. The HDMI King cable though is much more aesthetically pleasing. It looks much nicer than the white rubber covered cable that I had been using. This has a woven fibercasing and the gold plated ends are finished with hefty plasticized grips. It is currently connected to my plasma TV, text is crisp, I have had no issues with it in the 6 months or so that I have had it.

4 Stars Excellent Cables, but Large Connectors
The cables are very good and since they are flexible, they work very well with my entertainment center. The only problem is the cables extra wide because of the strain relief attached to the connector ends of the cable. Since the connectors are extra wide, I cannot attach these side by side on my HDMI video switch. My TV stacks the HDMI connectors instead of placing them side by side and these cables are fine when stacked. So if you have your HDMIs side by side, you may want to think twice when ordering, but if you have your HDMIs stacked, these cables are awesome.

5 Stars Nice Replacement
I bought this to replace the factory supplied cable that appeared to have developed a soon to be broken wire as the video would without warning during gameplay disappear and re-appear. Why I chose this cable was for the S-Video output as I have not made the HD jump but my TV does have S-Video output. The picture does seem a bit cleaner using S-Video and the cable feels rugged and durable.

Well worth the money.
