4 Stars Good Router – Poor Documentation
First of all, this router works great. I now have all my computers connected to my DSL connection. I no longer have to disconnect one cable to install it into a different computer for Internet access. It was easy to wire my computers to this router. I have not noticed any decrease in speed on my Internet connection.

The problem was setting up the router’s firmware. My best guess is that Linksys expects you to connect this router to a cable company modem instead of a DSL modem. In order to connect to a DSL modem, you must change the router’s address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1. Be sure your DSL modem is not connected to the router when you do this.

I could not find this information on the CD that came with the router. I had to go to the Linksys website for this information.

Overall, I do recommend this router.

We have used a router, Linksys, for more than 10 years. We have two computers in the same room and need the router so my wife can be on line for her business, The new router is performing perfectly and I would recommend it to anyone in need of such an instrument.

Mu sun is very smart. He knows how to bypass things like this. So he just went to the store and bought a new cable for the tv and blugged it into the wall!! WOW THIS SUCKS!!

5 Stars BOB is a lifesaver!
We absolutely love BOB. The kids hate it though! We found it difficult to monitor the time on the computer, tv and PS2 for three kids. Especially if we were limiting time because of poor behavior, etc. Now, everyone knows where they stand and it’s all equal. No more fighting. I wish we had heard of it sooner.

I’ve had BOB for a week now, and am completely satisfied. My son will watch 8 hours of TV a day and insist he’s only watched 2, if I’d let him. BOB makes him think and plan about his TV/Video game habits. I only wish I’d had this device 10 years ago.

I hooked these up in all possible configurations and was unable to get sound through them. My sound card (Creative ZS2 Platinum) did not recognize them either??? My system is older and should have been compatible with them given the age of the design of this headset. I am going with the Medusa Home System Headset next based on the fact that I would not have to unplug them from my sound card every time I want to use my speakers.

CONS:

Volume switch is a pain, there are 5 volume indicators you need to manage. Microphone feels cheap and a bit awkward. Playing online is a mess since you can’t hear yourself talk and often you end up playing with the cheap volume indicators to moderate voices.

im a young but well rounded gamer but if u play shooting games these are the headsets for u i use to use turtle beach x4 but it made my ear ich go tritton all the way they have true dolby 5.1 surrond sound which is ahuge at vantage during game play they are more realible then turtle beach and if u play halo or call of duty send me a friend request so we can play together xbox 360 gamer tag:kingpin474
